I may be jumping the gun here but

I really like the Broken Bells EP. Granted, I'm
only listening to it for the the second time right now but there are a few reasons why I'm sure I'll love ot as much as I did at 4am last week when I was packing my room:

1. Usually one of the number one reasons why I like a band is because of the way the lead singer's voice sounds. This is why I love The Shins, that and because to me their lyrics are really good poetry, and seeing as half of Broken Bells is the lead singer/lyricist of The Shins I'm pretty much already sold

2. I think I'm also secretely a fan of Dangermouse, seeing as I love most of his collaborations and because he always choosing to work with some of my favorite artists ( I'm thinking specifically of the Beck/Dangermouse album, Modern Guilt)

3. In the time it's taken me to tap this out on iPhone (bed-stuy) doesn't have the Internet yet, I'm through 4 songs and yup I was right it's awesome, esp. "The Ghost Inside" which is playing right now.





Yup. Gonna give the new LCD Spundsystem another try soon, see if I like it more when I'm less grumpy.
